Wedding Seating Chart solo variant rules
The single-player variant is similar to the two-player game, with the following changes.
Game setup
Skip step 4. Do not draw meeples– place both pieces on the 0 space. In this variant, the player uses both colors and chooses the color of the guest to play each turn.
Gameplay
You alternate between Rush and Careful turns, starting with the Rush Turn.
Rush Turn: Draw a guest card from the top of the deck and then choose which side to play. Seat the guest in the first available seat, starting with the leftmost seat in the top row. If all the seats in the top row are already occupied, choose the first available leftmost seat in the bottom row. See the illustration for an example.
A Careful Turn: Draw one of the three guest cards and then choose which side to play it. Seat the guest on any available space. Then, reveal a new card from the deck and place it in place of the previously drawn one.
Example: A player takes a Rush Turn. They must seat their guest on space numbered #1, as it is the leftmost space in the top row (each subsequent space is further away). The player chooses whether to place the guest card with the blue or pink side facing up.
Game End and Victory
Collect the points for pink and blue separately, as if there were two players. Your final score is the lower of the two. Compare it to the table to see how well (or poorly) you did.
| Your score | How well did you plan the wedding |
| 25+ | You are either a planning god or you are cheating! |
| 22-24 | You are very well qualified to plan a wedding. |
| 19-21 | At least some of the guests will have a fun. |
| 14-18 | Not bad but better leave the planning part to someone else. |
| 0-13 | Well, it is never too late to cancel the wedding... |
